We kicked off this blog thing because Latin food has always seemed like way more than simple recipes to us. It is love and family stuff, all wrapped up in memories right there on the plate. Back when we were kids, pretty much our favorite times were hanging out around the dinner table. We figured it would be nice to make a spot online where we could pass that kind of happiness along to folks like you.

You will run into the meals we knew from childhood here. There are fresh spins on those classic ones too. And stories that tie every dish back to the real culture and old traditions that shaped them. Thing is, we are no fancy chefs or anything. Just people who love food a lot. We think it is important to keep those tastes going strong.
